ELF Mini Haul: Tinted Moisturizer and Concealer

Finally!:) Long weekend!:) I will be out of town tomorrow until Sunday. I don't want to bring foundation with me and I just want to wear light makeup so I decided to get the tinted moisturizer from elf. And since I don't have any concealer anymore, I also got their elf studio under eye concealer and highlighter. :) Will road test these goodies for 3 days, hope to make the review when I get back!:) I need to take pictures first before using!! HAHA!!:)

REVIEW: Barry M Lip Paint in Pink Suede 150

Yay for another lippy review!:) This is just the first leg of my product review from my Skye Avenue Haul. Since most of the girls requested me to review this first, wish granted!:p 

To quote Barry M's website. "Barry M is known as the most colourful name in cosmetics and the UK's number 1 fashion cosmetic company. With over 400 different colours and a wide range of products Barry M has become a household name in the field of fashion cosmetics. We offer the customer a low to mid-price brand of quality, affordable and extremely fashionable cosmetics."  Actually, visiting their website makes we wanna order and hoard lots of their products but.. yeah no moolah to splurge! HAHA!:p The good thing about Barry M Cosmetics is that they did not test their products nor ingredients on animals! Yay! No more animal cruelty!:) 

So let's get into business. Barry M Lip Paint in Pink Suede is a nude with a hint of warn pink undertone, for me it's a semi matte finish!:) Actually this is my first pinkish nude lipstick. After trying this out, I asked myself why did I missed this great shade for the longest time!! HAHA!!  With regards to the packaging, I love it! It's made of a black matte plastic material with the brand name printed in gold at the top lid. :) For me, this look is simple yet classy. 

So here's some photos of it..

For me, this is the closest color in real life.

The color is really different if taken with flash. This is too bright.

Let me tell you what I like about this lippy

-Perfect nude shade ever!

-Easy to apply, creamy and glides on smoothly upon application

-Great for everyday use

-Affordable at 340, Now on SALE at 300PHP

-Long Lasting! Yes! Even after eating meron pa din!:)

-Can last 6-7 hours

-No crazy smell or whatsoever.

-Even after swiping off the product from your lips, the color stays. 

-1 swipe is enough! It's pigmented!:)

-What you see is what you get. Same color from the tube and if worn.

-Perfect combination for smokey eyes

What I don't like about it

-If you don't put lip moisturizer and if you don't exfoliate your lips, you can see that the product might tend to sink in the lines of your lips. So better do moisturize and exfoliate!:) This is a must for  people with dry lips.

For the swatches:

Overall, I love this product. This is my current favorite nude lipstick!:) I really like the hint of warm pink it gives!:) I would definitely recommend this product! This is a must have nude lipstick, promise!:) Oh by the way, I think this shade is perfect for us Filipinas. :)

I just wanna share to you all what I've got today!:) I went to mall to meet up Aileen, the owner of Stuff N' Shop to get the lippies I ordered. I ordered 2, and she's so generous to give another two for my up coming giveaway!:) Yey!:) Wanna guess what shades I ordered and for the giveaway? hehe.. So after meeting her up, I went to SM department store to buy the soap but I saw this Glamworks exfoliating body scrub! I've been on the quest of  finding and getting this body scrub for more than 3 months now! Finally!!! Yeeeey!:) I super love the smell of it, smells like D&G Light Blue!:) I also got myself a tubof Tresemme hair mask for hair prone to breakage and' hairfall. Yes! I've been experiencing a lot of hair falls especially after taking a bath!:( Let's see!!

REVIEW: REVLON Matte Lipstick In the Red

 I've been on the quest of finding the red lipstick that would compliment my skin tone. I've tried some but mostly are super bright and super glossy. The moment this lipstick landed my hand (May 2011) I tried it on my lips and I just fell in love with it. This has been my favorite red lipstick ever!! I'm on my 2nd tube already and will never get tired of repurchasing it again and again. I'm always hesitant on wearing red lipstick before, but this stopped my hesitations and opened my mind that red lipstick, especially matte ones really compliments my skin tone and my lips. :) 

As what I always tell on my past reviews about the packaging of Revlon Matte Lipstick, I love it!:) It has a matte black tube and a transparent plastic on top of the cover to see directly what the shade of the lipstick!:)

The packaging is sturdy and looks expensive.

In the Red is a classic red lipstick. For me it's a medium red shade. It's not too bright nor too dark. I think this compliments all skin tone. This is my go to lipstick whenever I'm in a rush and no time to do my makeup. I just put some powder then 2 swipes of this lipstick and off I go. :)

So here's what I think about this lipstick!:)

What I love about it:

-Pigmented

-It's matte but it's not drying on lips

-Easy to apply. It glides on smoothly on lips

-Can last 4-5 hours with minimal eating. Though a little fading will happen if you eat like full meals but a little dub and you're ready to pose for a smile!:)

-No unusual smell

Does not bleed

-I love the packaging

-Average price 477PhP on malls (Got it at 280PhP over Ebay)

What I don't like about it:

None!:) This is my 2nd tube already. I wouldn't have bought it again if I've seen any flaws from it. LOL

Just a simple tip:

If you have dry lips, I definitely suggest to condition first your lips by applying lip balm and let it sit for about 10 minutes before applying lipstick. Though I think this will affect the longevity of the product on your lips and this will not give you the exact shade of it if applied without lip moisturizer. :)
