Less than 24 hours left until our 2012 ends! A lot of things to be remembered and to be thankful! I started this blog this year and I'm happy that you are a part of my 2012!

As you noticed, I don't blogged much this month. Been too busy completing all the requirements I need to submit for work, Christmas rush, household chores,
and my dog being sick. I've been focusing all my attention to my dog, I don't want to lose him! Hopefully he'll get better anytime soon!

Anyhoo, enough with my drama! hehe.. Tonight, I decided to do my Holiday Makeup Look. Here are the pictures of me wearing this look.

My Entry for "A Dainty Holiday Makeup and Nail Art Contest"

I've been trying to create a look for this giveaway for so long but time won't let me! Busy month ever!:) Finally!! I decided to go for a gold eye makeup, red lips for my face and an inspired candy swirl for my nails.

Natural Beauty...

Natural beauty is embracing and loving your own skin!:) I admit that I was once a fat girl with super low self esteem. But, little by little I discovered that beauty is not only based on the size of your shirt nor jeans. Whether you’re extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, extra extra large and so on.. the important thing is how you embrace yourself whatever your size is and imperfections are! Everyone of us is entitled to look beautiful and to feel beautiful. That’s God’s gift to all of us mankind. Self acceptance is the key, love yourself first so that others can love you back! Taylor Swift's RED KEDS Launch Party!!!

Are you also a fan of Keds, just like me? To be honest, I only own 2 pairs of Keds. My favorite is already 3 years old and still in good condition. My Keds has been my travel buddy for so many years!:) Awesome, right? Keds is so famous because of it's simple yet versatile and super comfortable sneakers!

Just before Christmas, Keds Philippines will finally launch their Taylor Swift's Red Keds limited edition sneakers!:) Just right in time before Christmas, right? You can pair with shorts, pants, skirts, dress, leggings.. anything!:)

REVIEW: Miners Matte Effect Lipstick in Wonderland

Before anything else, I just want to say thank you to all who whispered their prayers for the recovery of my dog. He’s still on Intravenous Therapy and hopefully he’ll get better super soon!:)

Anyhoo, this post is my 2^nd part of review from my Skye Avenue Haul. Yes, another lip product! This time it’s from the brand Miners Cosmetics, the Matte Effect Lipstick in Wonderland.

According to Miners Cosmetics: “Matte Effect Wonderland is a completely matte shade. Inspired by our favourite childhood fairytale, Wonderland Matte Effect is a stunning light coral shade with a hint of pink. The matte yet moistuising colour is the perfect shade for any cheeky Alice.”

Shades:

-Barely Buff

-Fiesta

-Vixen

-Wonderland

I definitely agree that Matte Effect is really a matte finish lip product. The shade is coral/orangey shade with a little bit pink undertone. But more likely it is a coral lipstick, which is the lip trend now a days. This color will surely be a hit mostly during summer season!:)

Oww, before I forgot! About the packaging. Nothing fancy.. but I tell you, the color that you see on the bottom of the tube is exactly the same shade of the product inside the tube!:) By this, it will make the consumers see the actual color of the product without opening incase there is no tester available!:)

This is my 3rd coral shade lipstick. So far, I'm loving the natural effect it gives especially on pictures!:) Hehe.. Below are the swatches. :)

What I LIKE about Miners Matte Effect in Wonderland?

-Wearable coral shade without getting too much attention. (I mean, di OA pagka orange! LOL:p)

-Perfect for day time and summer!:)

-It's MATTE! I love matte finish lipstick.

-Easy to apply.

-PIGMENTED!

-The color from the tube is the same color when I applied it on my lips and when swatched. (It may differ based on the natural color of your lips)

-Smells like candy (for me) not a strong scent. Barely noticeable. (Inamoy ko lang talaga ng bongga! HAHA:p)

-Can last 5-6 hours without eating. Small meals is not a problem, no need for retouch.

-Easy to remove

-Affordable at 300PhP

-Does not make my lips dry

What I DON'T LIKE about Miners Matte Effect in Wonderland?

This..

Needs extra care when holding. Beside this, I can't think of any downside of this product. Performance wise, I would definitely recommend this. It's worth the try, believe me!:)

TIP: After applying, blot your lips on a tissue paper for a smooth natural looking. Try also to kiss the back of your hand, you will see no or just a tiny hint of lip mark!:) Cool eh?

HAUL: My very first sample products from SAMPLE ROOM

Just a quick blog post before bed time!:)

Just before midnight or a minute after midnight of Monday, I saw a Facebook status from Sample Room announcing that the 2nd wave of samples is already up! After I saw that post, I instantly opened another tab, typed sampleroom.ph and log in!:) In a snap!! HAHA!! The 1st batch of samples was a hit! I actually got the chance to get the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil but because of my busy schedule last week, my order was canceled because I was not able to pay within the said time frame! Well.. I'm thankful! I got the chance to get samples in full size! Oh yeah!
