REVIEW: Nivea Aqua Effect Mattifying Toner

Hello friends!:) Time runs so fast and I couldn't believe it that January is almost over in a mater of hours. Here comes another weekend yet I have work. Booo me!! LOL! Anyhoo, I'm here to review about this toner I've been using for almost 2 months already. As you can see, there's a little product remains on the bottle. I don't normally use this toner on a regular basis-day and night. I only use this mostly during day time most especially whenever I wear makeup. Now let me share with you my thoughts about this product.

Just like other toners, it also contained in a plastic bottle with a flip flop cap cover. As you can see on the above picture, this is the new packaging. I like the color of the bottle, unang tingin pa lang refreshing na! 

The product claims:

PROS:

-Helps reduce oil secretion from face especially if worn under makeup

-Gives a mattified looking skin yet doesn't makes skin dry

-Makes your makeup lasts a bit longer than normal hours 

-Can brighten up your skin. (Brighten not lighten, just to make it clear.)

-Has Ocean Algae Hydra IQ that helps tones and cleans the skin deeply

-Affordable at 169PhP for 200ml bottle

-Readily available on malls and drugstores nationwide

CONS:

-I don't like the opening hole of the bottle because it gives more product than what I needed and since it has this big opening hole the product is only concentrated on a single portion of the cotton pad. Sayang!:(

-I love toners with a refreshing cool feeling. This toner when applied is like applying water on face. I don't know if it's just me but that's what I noticed.

-I don't think that it removes almost all the dirt on my face than my previous toner. But yeah, since I always use this after taking a bath, maybe I don't have too much dirt to remove. LOL

HAUL: Hair Care (Dove and Pantene PRO-V)

Hello friends!!:) Lately, I've been super worried about my hair. If only my hair can talk, I'm sure I'll hear a lot of complaints! LOL! This month, my hair was always up in a bun, well it's part of my nurse life so I need to get used to it. My hair is screaming like "I need a trim!! Utang na loob!!!" Haha! So last Thursday, I had my hair trimmed about 2 inches long. (yeah, that's already long for me:p) Hair fall is my ultimate hair problem, I already tried a lot of anti-hair fall products but I haven't found "The One" yet.

This afternoon I went out for a grocery shopping and to buy some products for my hair is on top of my list. I decided to get Dove's hair fall rescue shampoo and their hair serum. I was about to leave the hair section of the grocery but this Pantene PRO-V product hits my eyes!:) I was curious about this "Miracle Water" written on its label. :) Now the question is, what to use first? What yah think? hehehe..

REVIEW: Snoe Beauty Rouge Deluxe in Just Peachy

Hi friends!:) How was your weekend doing? My night duty went well though I did not get any chance to take a break. Hehe.. Anyhoo, I know I promised to post this review last night but yeah, I lack time. So here it is.

Last November, I attended Snoe Beauty 3rd Semi-Annual Bloggers Event and I'm so lucky to get this lippy for free!:) I was actually contemplating between Chilli Pepper and Just Peachy. Since most of my lipsticks are reds, I decided to try something new- the Just Peachy!:) Before I get into the product itself, I just wanna tell you my thoughts about the packaging. The product is contained in a plastic tube, pink in color with a simple yet elegant design. I love how Snoe Beauty makes their packaging cute and eye catching!:) What I love most it the box!:) (Picture shown at the bottom of this post.)

Just peachy is a coral shade. It's not that light nor too dark, just right and wearable. I'm not really into this color but I think I made the right decision. I love how it compliments my skin tone. It has a bit of red under tone too. I wonder why they named it "Just Peachy" if there isn't any peach tone on it. Hehe.. Just Peachy has a creamy texture, and gives a satin finish. It's easy to apply, pigmented and buildable. I personally like swiping 2 layers to achieve my desired bold color. Though one swipe is enough already. :) The staying power of this product may last for like 4-5 hours. The color stays even after eating. On the 6th hour onwards, even the product totally fades, the color still remains. I think this is a lipstick and a lip stain in one!:) Plus it's moisturizing too!:) Oh before I forget, this product has a strong sweet vanilla-ish scent plus the smell of oil. It's really hard to describe it.. HAHA!:p For me this is not an issue though.

 

WHAT I LIKE:

-Packaging. So cute and the box has all it's information

-Staying Power

-It's a lip stain too!:)

-Pigmented

-Buildable from soft to a much bolder color

-Easy to apply. Glides on smoothly on lips

-Lots of color to choose from

-Ingredients such as Castor Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter that will hydrate, nourish and revitalize lips. Plus no Parabens.

-Accessible. You can get it on their branches found in well known malls in the country.

HMMMS...

-The strong scent. Though for me it's tolerable, this might be an issue to others

-The price. Hehe.. :p

My usual FOTD/N at work. I'm a nurse, btw.

Hello friends!:) I know I promised to post my product review about Snoe Beauty Rouge De Luxe Lippy tonight but I'm running out of time, I still need to prepare for work tonight. Hihi.. For now, I just want to share with you what's my usual FOTD/N for work. I just want to keep it simple, since I am a nurse and I don't want to look like I'm partying while charting like 20 patients, and giving meds to 40 something babies. LOL! So yeah, this is usually what I normally wear at work, I just change my lippy each day. (Sayang ang mga lipstuk! Di ko nagagamit! HAHA!:p) I just wear a tinted moisturizer or a light foundie and top it up with a powder. I also dont forget to fill in my brows with a brown eyeshadow, line my eyes, curl my lashes, wear mascara, put on some blush and put on some lip color and I'm ready to go. :)

Wanna Know More About DIANA STALDER??

Hello friends!:) I'm finally  back into blogging!:) If only fingers can scream I think my lappy's keypad will get pissed off! LOL!:p So happy to be back!:) I have been planning to tell you something about Diana Stalder last year but I've been very busy with my offline life. But of course, it doesn't mean I forgot about it already. 

If you are a regular reader of this blog you already know that I attended Diana's Stalder Bloggers Event last November 2012 and it was a super fun and rejuvenating day!:) Diana Stalder deserves to be blogged' about, besides their warm welcome, their services are to die for!:) I personally experience their Painless Facial Treatment, I tell you.. it was amaaaazing! Yes! I will be back hopefully before this month ends for another session of their Painless Facial. Will definitely blog about it for sure. So watch out for it. New Year-New Domain-New Blog Header

Happy New Year friends!:) Better late than never! Yes? hehe.. I know I've been MIA, and hopefully I will be back on track as soon as I fixed my domain. hihi. I decided to get myself a domain, my blog is now Your Beauty Diaries, formerly known as Mitchiekyuti.   Ohhh, have you noticed my new blog header ? Do you like it? hehe.. Anyhoo, this blog post wont be too long. 

2012 has been a nice ride for me. I started blogging even though I know I'm not that good when it comes to writing, still I pursue! With this journey, I discover a lot of things about beauty and mostly about myself. I enjoy every bits of my blogging journey. Through blogging, I met pretty faces that I can actually have a conversation with and talk about makeup and some beauty related stuffs even for hours, without getting bored! HAHA! It's a nice feeling meeting a lot of people even just online, feeling ko kilala ko na sila since birth. LOL! 

I would like to say thank you for supporting me and my blog for almost a year, and hopefully for the coming years to come!:) Hope you're still with me as I continue my blogging journey this 2013!:) I will try my best to share with you my thoughts and kikayness more!:) You are my inspiration and so with my supportive family and friends.
